Capital city and manufacturing citadel

The Core City organizes a civilization around active minds and the infrastructure that sustains them. Large armored cognition vaults connect through controlled data and service routes, while layered industrial terraces support fabrication, logistics and defense.

The city is inhabited by engineering robots, maintenance walkers, cargo bodies and relay drones. Bodies can be repaired or replaced, and independent minds can choose forms suited to their work and preferences.

Cognition Vaults & Memory

Separated computing districts host active minds and protected memory records. Independent power and cooling paths allow surviving districts to continue operating after local damage. Restoring a recorded state cannot recover experience that was never synchronized.

Manufacturing & New Bodies

Material intake feeds refineries, component workshops and final assembly yards. Articulated construction machines build new frames, install functional modules and test completed bodies. Every replacement depends on energy, raw materials and manufacturing time.

Power, Cooling & Logistics

Energy storage, generation facilities, radiator banks and cooling circuits form visible districts. Cargo routes connect the industrial terraces, while relay towers coordinate local traffic and communication. Heavy demand forces the city to allocate resources among civilian work, repair and military production.

Machine Civic Life

Citizens maintain individual identities within shared infrastructure. Engineers, survey minds and maintenance specialists can inhabit different bodies and negotiate access to communal resources. Shared networks support a society with its own choices and disagreements.

Defense & Territorial Expansion

Layered fortifications and autonomous platforms protect computation and industrial districts. New infrastructure extends power, cooling, manufacturing and communication into surrounding territory. Expansion can displace existing ecosystems when military priorities dominate.

Operational Limits

The city depends on material access, power and heat rejection. Severed transport corridors slow production; damaged cooling constrains active computing; isolated vaults may lose synchronization with the wider network.
