Dimensions & Scale

Length 25 M × Width 14.65 M × Height 11.17 M. Overall envelope includes the extended armor, weapons and sensing or control structures.

Operating mass: approximately 2,700 ton (metric tons). This estimate allows for internal spaces, operating reserves and the distinct material systems of the HC subtype.

04 / PLATFORM RECORD

Weapons & Armament

Clustered guided strike missiles occupy raised, protected launcher terraces. Crystal-metal launch recesses reinforce the ready weapons and support controlled release, while engineered magazines and service interfaces organize replenishment. A supporting spotting and precision-control layer refines target solutions before firing. Compact defensive guns and short-range interception cover close threats. The primary role is standoff missile support rather than sustained close-range tank combat.

External Anatomy

A directional graphite and blue-gray central hull carries organized service access, controlled weapon spacing and an elevated missile package. Substantial jade crystal-metal masses reinforce the forward shoulders, flanks and launcher terraces. Dark mineral roots join those formations to engineered load paths; restrained amber and pale internal light marks active apertures. Lower supported mobility assemblies carry the ammunition mass beneath the armored hull. The faceted outer domains are functional material architecture, not biological carapace.

Functional Architecture

Ironprism Launcher Terraces — Raised missile groups and protected release recesses combine Human ammunition organization with crystal-metal reinforcement. The supporting structure carries launcher loads into the main body.

Guidance and Spotting Network — Engineered fire-control logic and faceted lattice sensing compare available observations before committing a missile solution. Missing or stale information remains a targeting limit.

Protected Magazine Service — Armored access routes and separated ready stores support physical replenishment. Crystal growth reinforces damaged supports without creating replacement missiles from nothing.

Integrated Mobility Supports — Ground-bearing carrier assemblies distribute the launcher and reserve load. Crystal-metal roots strengthen their housings while engineered drive and steering hardware preserve coherent ground movement.

Lattice Condition Control — Resonance monitoring, energy buffers and local thermal regulation protect active crystal domains during firing and repair. No biological feeding or brood system is needed.

Operational Role

Standoff missile strike, guided bombardment and artillery support from a mobile armored ground body. Ironprism supplies planned fire missions for Meldaen formations, then moves to replenishment or an alternate firing position. Its reinforced variant favors magazine and launcher survival over minimum weight.

09 / PLATFORM RECORD

Ground Operations

Ironprism operates on the ground using supported carrier assemblies beneath its ammunition body. Engineered drive and steering hardware share load with integrated crystal-metal reinforcement. It shifts between prepared firing positions and protected replenishment routes, keeping the raised missile package stable before release. Medium-high mobility within its carrier family does not remove the turning, clearance and support limits imposed by a loaded launcher. Sustained flight and undersea travel are not assigned.

Defense Architecture

Reinforced frontal shoulders, faceted crystal-metal armor domains and protected magazine access favor survival during relocation and firing preparation. Engineered isolation protects guidance and ready stores, while compact interception addresses local threats. Lattice reinforcement can stabilize selected fractures when compatible material and power are available. Exposed launcher structures and damaged mobility supports still require protection and recovery.

11 / PLATFORM RECORD

Operational Limits

The raised launcher package imposes clearance and stability demands. Ready missiles, verified spotting information, cooling and energy reserves limit sustained firing. Crystal reconstruction cannot replace expended ammunition or a missing mechanical assembly without compatible feedstock and fabrication. Close attackers can force the carrier to relocate before its next planned salvo.

12 / PLATFORM RECORD

Strategic Strengths

Organized missile servicing, protected launcher foundations and integrated crystal-metal armor support repeated planned fire missions. Human-style weapon spacing and access discipline remain clear alongside Cryvum material growth. The HC architecture provides precision sensing and structural reconstruction without requiring a biological sustainment system.

Capability Assessment

The profile assesses this armored ground missile carrier across the same six axes used throughout the archive. Fusion subtype HC identifies inherited systems, not a power grade. The present body retains specialized strengths and clear limits; additional ancestral systems do not automatically raise its overall score.

Individual History

Ironprism Missile Carrier emerged at the Seravell mineral terraces, where a growing Meldaen colony needed mobile strike support beyond the reach of its fixed defenses. The first launcher frame had orderly access routes but insufficient support around the elevated missile package. The next growth interval added substantial crystal-metal shoulders and a deeper protected central body. Ironprism’s differentiation therefore favored surviving the preparation of a salvo rather than carrying the greatest number of exposed weapons. Its first departure followed an inspection of loaded turning clearance instead of a ceremonial firing demonstration.

The Long Terraces assignment placed Ironprism behind a line of observation bodies whose reports arrived at unequal intervals. A forward group requested immediate bombardment of a moving return near an abandoned service route. The carrier’s engineered fire-control logic could produce a solution, but its lattice sensing could not confirm that the return still occupied the reported location. Ironprism delayed the missile release while another observer reached a better position. The target had already crossed the route. The withheld strike preserved ready weapons and left a nearby material convoy outside an unnecessary attack.

A colony coordinator named Drail Venn argued that the delay had surrendered initiative. Ironprism accepted a stricter requirement to disclose the age of its observations, but refused to describe uncertain guidance as precise merely because the launcher was ready. The exchange changed the spotting compact around it. Observers began reporting what they had actually confirmed, while the carrier listed which firing corridors remained usable. Several fire missions became shorter. One planned bombardment was cancelled. Replenishment crews nevertheless found that the ready inventory now corresponded more closely to the missions the formation could verify.

At the Amber Shoulder Crossing, hostile fire struck a forward mineral domain as the carrier relocated beneath a damaged support span. Crystal roots arrested part of the fracture, but the lower carrier assembly lost alignment. Ironprism halted behind available cover and transferred the missile package to a safe posture. A ground recovery group replaced the damaged drive hardware while cultivated reinforcement stabilized the shoulder. The work used both a manufactured component and compatible mineral feedstock. Neither could stand in for the other, and the carrier remained out of the next firing cycle despite its otherwise intact weapons.

During the recovery review, a visiting attendant offered living repair tissue from an HB support lineage. Ironprism declined the immediate graft because its current HC body had no circulation or immune architecture to sustain it. The colony instead arranged a mechanical replacement and a controlled crystal-growth interval. Drail Venn recorded the additional delay, but also recorded that the completed repair could be inspected through the carrier’s existing service interfaces. The episode made HC a practical distinction for the colony: a shared Meldaen origin did not make every repair material interchangeable between subtypes.

The carrier returned during the Split Ramp defense, when two distant approaches competed for its remaining guided weapons. It supported the verified nearer threat while another formation covered the uncertain route. Repeated launcher use warmed the active crystal roots and reduced the next cycle’s safe output. Ironprism moved to a secondary position rather than promising an immediate full salvo. The defenders held one approach and withdrew from the other with their replenishment bodies intact. The carrier’s report retained both outcomes, resisting a later proposal to describe the entire action as a continuous successful bombardment.

Ironprism now serves the Seravell strike network with a darker repaired domain beneath its forward jade shoulder. Its missile terraces, protected magazines and supported ground assemblies remain one HC architecture. Drail Venn has requested a longer-range load that would occupy more service volume and increase turning clearance. The carrier has submitted two compatible configurations and identified the defensive stores each would displace. Its next development will follow that choice, keeping the relationship between ready firepower, protected movement and finite replenishment visible in the body it carries into the next campaign.
