Overview
Thronemaw Vanguard Surface Interceptor is a Meldaen Triune sea-surface hunter. Human naval organization, Bugvex living anatomy and Cryvum crystal-metal permanently integrate within a buoyant displacement body. Structured weapon sectors and command geometry share roots with predatory mouth organs, circulation tissue, faceted sensing and hydrolattice water-drive structures. T identifies the three-way fusion subtype.
Vessel Profile
Dimensions & Scale
Length 24.99 M × Width 12.2 M × Height 7.9 M. Overall envelope includes the extended armor, weapons and sensing or control structures.
Operating mass: approximately 190 ton (metric tons). This estimate allows for internal spaces, operating reserves and the distinct material systems of the T subtype.
Weapons & Armament
A dominant forward strike layer combines organized gunnery, a living attack aperture and a crystal-metal resonance mouth. Compact chase-missile or torpedo support extends the interception sequence, while tight local defense protects the approach and withdrawal. Engineered firing discipline, muscle-driven regulation and lattice focusing act on shared weapon structures. This light Vanguard body prioritizes pursuit and screening rather than a capital vessel’s sustained broadside capacity.
External Anatomy
A clear wave-cutting bow leads a low, continuous central combat body and a powerful stern water-drive sector. Dark titanium and black naval roots organize the deck and weapon zones. Ivory bone and muted burgundy living tissue reinforce the buoyant body, while mineral-colored crystal-metal domains support sensing, resonance and field regulation. Dark copper framing marks selected engineered junctions. Living mouths, faceted apertures and service structures share coherent load paths across the flanks.
Functional Architecture
Triune Command Body — Human-derived computational organization, Bugvex neural biology and Cryvum lattice awareness coordinate pursuit, fire control and local regulation. This is the full three-way T lineage.
Displacement and Circulation Anatomy — A buoyant hull and regulated pressure volumes support surface operation while vascular tissues supply working organs. The body floats through displacement.
Integrated Forward Strike Root — Engineered supports, living attack tissues and crystal-metal resonance regions form one directional weapon system
Hydrolattice Water Drive — Protected stern water-flow sectors combine engineered steering, muscular adjustment and crystal-metal field regulation. No ordinary rocket exhaust is needed for surface propulsion.
Symbiotic Recovery and Service — Repair organisms close compatible tissue injuries, while engineered access and mineral growth support mechanical and crystalline recovery. All three require time, material and energy.

Fleet Role
Surface interception, pursuit, patrol screening and anti-raider response. The Vanguard branch presses a verified forward attack and turns quickly enough to cover a threatened approach. It provides a light, specialized surface body within the broader T lineage, rather than inheriting the scale or firepower of a Triune capital dreadnought.
Maritime Operations
Thronemaw operates on the sea surface by true displacement, with approximately 1.3 M design draft and approximately 6.6 M height above the design waterline within its 7.9 M overall height. A directional bow, protected stern water-drive sectors and agile steering produce a coherent surface wake. High-speed pursuit requires suitable sea conditions and reserves. Hydro-lattice assistance regulates the water drive; it does not turn this body into a hovering rock, a spacecraft or a permanently submerged hunter.
Defense Architecture
Engineered subdivisions, living circulation isolation and crystal-metal reinforcement protect the compact combat body through complementary mechanisms. Local interception covers nearby threats, while agility helps the interceptor change its approach. Tissue closure, mechanical servicing and mineral reconstruction recover different kinds of damage. Their dependence on shared roots means a severe local injury can interrupt several protective functions at once.
Operational Limits
Sea state, finite pursuit reserves and a compact ammunition load constrain prolonged interception. Tissue recovery, mechanical servicing and crystal reconstruction have different resource needs. Damage to the shared drive or weapon roots can interrupt all three contributions. The T subtype does not guarantee a high overall combat grade or transfer capital-scale abilities to this light surface body.
Strategic Strengths
Fast surface response and agile steering combine with integrated sensing and a concentrated forward strike. Human naval organization, Bugvex living anatomy and Cryvum crystal-metal contribute to the same working systems. The result remains a coherent displacement vessel whose visual and functional fusion changes more than its external armor.
Capability Assessment
The profile assesses this light surface interceptor across the same six axes used throughout the archive. Fusion subtype T identifies inherited systems, not a power grade. The present body retains specialized strengths and clear limits; additional ancestral systems do not automatically raise its overall score.
C · 58.2
Fleet-wide concept rating, 0–100; not simulated performance. Specialized strengths do not imply an equally high overall grade. Tactical Cognition describes sensing, coordination and command. Grade is the equal-weight mean: S ≥ 90, A ≥ 75, B ≥ 60, C ≥ 45, D < 45.

Individual History
Thronemaw Vanguard Surface Interceptor grew at the Nareth Shoal conversion margin while the colony’s heavier warforms defended a more distant approach. Its developing body inherited an engineered naval arrangement, living circulation and cultivated crystal-metal domains together. The colony chose a light surface-interception role because delayed responses had left small supply movements exposed. Thronemaw’s first trial therefore measured a turn through the shoal approaches with a working weapon load, rather than treating its three-way fusion as proof that it could perform every military task.
During the First Wake Passage, Thronemaw escorted a material barge whose handling structures rose higher than the interceptor’s low combat body. An uncertain contact appeared beyond the barge’s far flank, and the colony requested immediate pursuit. Thronemaw could accelerate quickly, but doing so would uncover the slower body before another screen arrived. Its command regions held position while lattice sensing compared the changing return and neural reflexes adjusted its wake spacing. The contact passed outside the protected route. The passage finished without a strike, leaving the interceptor’s readiness useful but visibly unspent.
A patrol coordinator called Veyra Strand criticized that decision as an overly cautious use of a Vanguard body. Thronemaw accepted a more explicit handover condition for future pursuits: another patrol had to confirm the exposed approach before it departed. The resulting compact gave the interceptor clearer permission to attack while preserving the barge’s actual coverage. Human-derived organization supplied the agreement, biological regulation sustained the changing movement, and lattice awareness refined the observations. None of those contributions alone described the working choice made by the completed body.
The Broken Crest action began when raiders crossed a wave-obscured route toward an outer recovery berth. With a replacement patrol covering its previous sector, Thronemaw accelerated into a verified forward attack. A concentrated strike forced the nearest raider away from the berth, and compact pursuit munitions covered the turn. Heavy water then struck a damaged flank root, interrupting steering regulation and tearing nearby circulation tissue. The interceptor reduced speed instead of continuing an increasingly uncertain chase. One raider escaped; the occupied recovery berth remained usable through the next transfer.
At Nareth, the repair required separate work on an engineered steering support, a living circulation branch and an active mineral domain. Veyra Strand proposed reopening patrol after the metal support passed inspection. Thronemaw’s neural regions still reported an unstable tissue interval, and its lattice awareness could not confirm the rebuilt drive alignment. The body remained in recovery until all three functions could sustain the same maneuver. Their integration had created useful resilience during the action, but it had also made an incomplete repair dangerous in ways a single inspection could not settle.
A later exchange with BC pressure attendants brought compatible mineral material and living support tissue to the surface berth. Their submerged hunting bodies shared two inheritances with Thronemaw, while lacking its Human engineering contribution. The attendants could help sustain the renewed growth but could not certify the steering support they had not inspected. Thronemaw retained both the helpful exchange and the limit of that assistance in its service record. The colony began marking subtype on maintenance requests so common Meldaen ancestry would no longer be mistaken for identical anatomy, cognition or available repair methods.
Thronemaw now patrols with an uneven ivory seam over the rebuilt flank junction. Its compact body still combines structured naval weapons, living regulation and crystal-metal water-drive control within one T lineage. Veyra Strand has asked it to screen a longer supply passage during deteriorating sea conditions. The interceptor has offered several shorter handovers that preserve recovery and pursuit reserves, and the colony must choose whether that narrower coverage is enough. The next wake it leaves will belong to a specialized surface warform whose three inheritances work together, without making its current body larger or its promises unlimited.
