Ivoryrhom Ground Bastion

Mobile ground bastion

Ivoryrhom Ground Bastion is a Cryvum mobile fortress platform built around an exceptionally broad, deep crystal-metal body. Forward siege projectors, paired shoulder launch fields and distributed interception domains support sustained formation defense. Its calcite-derived ivory growths share continuous roots with a dense reserve-bearing core, moving close to the ground through an integrated support field.

Dimensions & Scale

Length 184.4 m × Width 153.4 m × Height 51.2 m. Supplied fictional body dimensions exclude the proposed 2.73 m traveling hover gap. In that state, the top of the body is approximately 53.93 m above level terrain.

Proposed operating mass: approximately 720,000 ton (metric tons). This fictional estimate allows for a broad fortified lattice, protected internal volume and substantial energy and mineral reserves; it is not measured material density or a validated field-lift capacity.

04 / VESSEL RECORD

Weapons & Armament

Proposed armament comprises 2–4 major upper-forward siege-projector organs, two grouped dorsal launch fields with approximately 6–10 recessed shard or seed outlets per shoulder, and 6–10 smaller interception apertures across the outer shoulders and upper flanks. These are design ranges rather than verified counts from the exterior views.

Short rooted structures concentrate lattice resonance through faceted emitter mouths. A continuous forward phase region coordinates lattice-shear pressure across a selected target zone. Launch, sensing and defensive outlets are grown concentration regions of the same body rather than separate human-built equipment.

External Anatomy

Unequal oblique-ended domains overlap along a clear travel axis. Warm ivory and gray mineral faces descend into darker common roots, with local skew intersections expressing the calcite lineage. Broad shoulders enclose reserve volume around a shallow integrated structural spine. Lateral stress corridors remain buried instead of rising into a separate citadel.

The dense underside carries broad support-field regions, while large rear-biased valleys organize steering. Most of the body remains opaque and massive; restrained internal light identifies active regions without outlining every facet.

Functional Architecture

A continuous cultivated crystal-metal lattice combines sensing, energy storage, command and structural load paths. The low sensor ridge coordinates forward weapons and broad defensive coverage. Rear field-bias regions and underside support zones work together to maintain stable near-ground movement.

Two dormant exchange boundaries, one low on each flank, remain closed during travel. In the proposed support doctrine they enable controlled reserve sharing when conditions permit. They are material-state interfaces rather than mechanical doors or deployed ground-piercing conduits. Damage recovery consumes compatible mineral reserves and time.

Technical Specifications

Offensive rating: 86/100 — Rooted siege projectors and shoulder launch fields provide heavy frontal pressure

Defensive rating: 92/100 — Broad repulsion domains and deep common roots protect the formation

Mobility rating: 28/100 — Exceptional width and reserve-heavy mass favor slow controlled movement

Tactical cognition rating: 79/100 — Distributed sensing coordinates weapons, field coverage and nearby units

Endurance rating: 88/100 — Large reserves sustain extended operations with finite replenishment needs

Fleet support rating: 90/100 — Coverage and controlled reserve exchange reinforce adjacent formations

Fleet Role

A mobile ground bastion for sustained formation control. Ivoryrhom combines forward siege pressure with long-duration repulsion coverage, reserve sharing and layered interception. It anchors a battle line and protects adjacent units while heavier reserves sustain the formation. This is a moving vehicle, not a stationary base.

09 / VESSEL RECORD

Ground Operations

The body travels approximately 2.73 m above terrain using buried field-bias regions and distributed steering states. Broad shallow underside troughs express support functions without wheels, tracks, legs or external jets. The wide mass favors deliberate advance and stable coverage over fast maneuver.

Only Ground is assigned. A near-ground hover gap does not establish atmospheric flight, orbital travel or an inherited space capability from the related fortress lineage.

Defense Architecture

Deep common roots and broad overlapping shoulder domains distribute structural stress and defensive repulsion. Interception outlets cover the flanks and upper approaches while the enclosed central reserves support prolonged protective operation. Maximum attack, movement and protection compete for the same finite reserves; concentrated disruption can still damage shared lattice regions.

Operational Limits

Exceptional width and low mobility constrain routes, turning space and terrain access. Sustained defense drains stored energy and may reduce offensive availability. Damage to common roots can affect several functions at once. Replenishment and regrowth require suitable feedstock, and slow withdrawal makes supporting scouts and flank protection valuable.

Strategic Strengths

Broad defensive reach, deep reserve volume and a layered weapon organization make Ivoryrhom a durable formation anchor. Continuous load paths protect the central lattice, while controlled reserve exchange supports nearby units. Its mineral architecture serves the ground-bastion role instead of adding a fragile external superstructure.

13 / TACTICAL PROFILE

Capability Assessment

Proposed fictional doctrine profile. Protection, endurance and support dominate, with substantial siege attack and deliberately limited mobility. Tactical cognition reflects sensing and formation control. Ratings describe an intended game role rather than measured combat performance.

Fleet-wide concept rating, 0–100; not simulated performance. Specialized strengths do not imply an equally high overall grade. Tactical Cognition describes sensing, coordination and command. Grade is the equal-weight mean: S ≥ 90, A ≥ 75, B ≥ 60, C ≥ 45, D < 45.

Technology Level

T0 — advanced planetary crystal-metal cultivation, near-ground support fields and distributed lattice cognition. No independent spaceflight capability is assigned.

Weapon Class

Proposed W2 — heavy formation combat through siege projection, grouped launch fields and layered interception. No unlimited strategic destruction is implied.

History & Lineage

Universe lore · authored service history

Origin

Cultivated for the fictional Cryvum ground formations as a surface-adapted extension of the Ivoryrhom fortress lineage. Its ground scale and support architecture were selected for terrain operations rather than copied from a space vessel.

Lineage & Branch

Ivoryrhom Bastion-class Fleet Fortress lineage; calcite-derived ground-bastion branch. Shared broad massing and reserve-oriented defense are reorganized around near-ground support fields.

Individual History

The Long Escarpment — In this authored service history, Ivoryrhom holds the center of a formation crossing an exposed plateau. Its forward projectors pressure a defended approach while broad repulsion coverage protects adjacent support units. The bastion advances slowly enough for the formation to retain its shape rather than pursuing retreating attackers.

The Reserve Exchange — After prolonged defense depletes neighboring units, Ivoryrhom pauses in a protected area for controlled reserve sharing. The delay leaves scouts responsible for the outer approaches. Later doctrine preserves this deliberate cycle of advance, protection and replenishment instead of treating the bastion as an inexhaustible source of power.
